There is little that I find more disgusting, revolting, stupid, counterproductive, annoying, and superficial as sororities. “Philanthropic” is the last thing that comes to mind when I think of sororities. Just because you stood in the compass and tried to sell cookies for Children’s Miracle Network hardly gives you the right to claim yourself as philanthropic. Please. I probably have more money in my back pocket than what they raised selling their homemade bullshit for charity. I really hope that employers start realizing that just because someone has that they were in alpha kappa epsilon phi mu sigma tron doesn’t mean shit and holds no value. I hope they realize these organizations are just ones where you pay $700 a semester to have ‘friends’ called ‘sisters’ that you get dressed up with to go drink cheap wine and beer at frats on the weekend.
